Welcome to Harbour Island

Harbour Island is located near the north end of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.  It is a small island that is 3 ½ miles long and ½ mile wide.  It is rated as one of the best islands in the Bahamas with its pink beaches.  Warm clear water provides excellent diving, fishing, boating, swimming and snorkeling.

The weather on Harbour Island is exceptional.  Average high temperatures are in the mid 70’s and 80’s and low temperatures in the mid 60’s and 70’s.  Monthly rainfall in the prime season is less than 4 inches.  Ocean breezes keep you comfortable both day and night.

Here you will find miles of magnificent pink-white beaches, sheltered coves, dramatic cliffs and incredible blue-green water. You can swim, snorkel, surf and enjoy some of the finest diving anywhere, with exceptional dive facilities and unusual wrecks; admire and feed the fish or take a dip in the inland “Ocean Hole,” over 100 fathoms deep; explore fascinating sights and enjoy tasting the sweet and uniquely delicious Bahamian pineapples grown in Gregory Town.

There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and they offer some of the best food in the Bahamas. The wide variety of restaurants so close together is hard to match on any other Bahamian out island. Menus range from fine cuisine to local fare. Casual dress with a few instances of semi-formal. Each restaurant has a unique flavor of Bahamian atmosphere some with breathtaking views of the island.
